This summer Saint Peter’s will be partnering with the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas’ “Environmental Task Force” and with Jolyon Larson (MPA), a researcher from the University of Vermont, on a discussion based program called “Caring for Creation: A What, Why, and How.” The program will meet once a week for five weeks from June 12th to July 10th, from 7pm to 8:30pm, in the Saint Peter’s Library. We will dialogue about a) the scientific evidence for human impacts on the planet; b) the ethical basis for action; c) the role of faith; d) personal and policy choices for change. We hope that you will join us in grappling with these difficult topics and that you can help us guide the direction the church takes in protecting our shared home.
