Whether you’re new to Saint Peter’s or the Episcopal Church, or you come from some other faith background, or even if you’re a “long-time” Episcopalian, the Confirmation Class may be for you. Classes will meet at approximately 12:30 pm, in the Ten Talks room, on the following Sundays: September 8, 15, 22, 29, and October 6. (There will also be a “makeup” session if needed.) Contact any of the Clergy to sign up.

From the Book of Common Prayer:
“In the course of their Christian development, those baptized at an early age are expected, when they are ready and have been duly prepared, to make a mature public affirmation of their faith and commitment to the responsibilities of their Baptism and to receive the laying on of hands by the bishop. Those baptized as adults, unless baptized with laying on of hands by a bishop, are also expected to make a public affirmation of their faith and commitment to the responsibilities of their Baptism in the presence of a bishop and to receive the laying on of hands.” (412)

The Rt. Rev. Larry Benfield, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas, will be at Saint Peter’s on Sunday, October 13, to confirm, receive, and reaffirm those desiring to do so. There will be one service that day at 10:30.
